To show that any idea, no matter how far out there, can become something beautiful on a Squarespace website, Jeff Bridges and I worked together to create an out there art album called The Sleeping Tapes - an album created to help you fall asleep.
I personally concepted the album and wrote a number of tracks including "Temescal Canyon" below.
The album spent 10 weeks on the Billboard New Age Charts, peaking at No. 2, was given a 7.8 rating by Pitchfork, named an album of the month by Paper Magazine, and dubbed one of The Best Overlooked Albums of the year by Pitchfork. Father John Misty even said it was an album he hoped to make in 40 years.
To promote this idea, we created a Superbowl commercial that demonstrated Jeff's powers.
